Forrest Lee Todd, 91, Vichy, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at the Missouri Veterans Home, St. James.

He was born Oct. 25, 1927, to Fred and Eunice (Moreland) Todd, in Webster Groves.

He was first united in marriage to Marie (Evans) Ellis, Aug. 17, 1957. He was later united in marriage to Deloris Todd.

Forrest was a member of Broadway Baptist Church, Vichy. He attended Rolla High School and graduated from Vienna High School in 1946. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Vichy and served in the U.S. Army. Forrest studied agriculture at the University of Columbia. He worked as a private contractor providing landscaping for Fort Leonard Wood and later went into real estate. He built a business as a broker of Todd Real Estate in St. James. He farmed the ancestral family homestead in Vichy for over 72 years until he moved to the veteran’s home.

He was preceded in death by parents, Fred and Eunice; wives, Marie and Deloris; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Todd; brother, Fred Todd Jr.; and step-daughter, Sharon Ellis.

He is survived by children, Mark Todd and wife Helena of Darmstadt, Germany, Michael Todd and wife Barbara of Vichy, Lorna Smith and husband Jimmy of Owensville, Elaine Woolsey of St. James, Bonnie Matlock and husband Bill of St. James and Cecil Ellis of St. James; sister, Shirley Gould of St. Charles; and brother Francis Todd and wife GiGi of Warrenton.

Memorial services will be held at the Broadway Baptist Church in Vichy and are scheduled for a later date to accommodate his son’s travel from overseas.
