Nell Elizabeth (Fewell) Strake, 90, Fenton, was baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection Friday, Dec. 21, 2018.
She was born Aug. 19, 1928, to Hubert and Helen Fewell, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Nell was the beloved wife of the late Robert G. Strake; dearest mother of Mary Van Winkle, Robert, James, William (Kathleen), Theresa (Robert) Strake-Cooper, Cecilia, John, David and the late Catherine, Rita, Mary and Mary Strake; dear grandmother of Sarah Van Winkle, Christopher, Benjamin, Alexandria and Theresa Strake; great-grandmother of Gabrielle Van Winkle; sister of Margaret (Roland) Harrison; sister-in-law of Mary (Anthony) Talarek and Rosemary (John) Cichon; dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 27, from 4-8 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, Ballwin. Funeral procession will leave from Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, Friday, Dec. 28, at 10 a.m. for Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Valley Park at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Family Cemetery, New Haven. Memorial contributions suggested to Catholic Relief Services.
