Nola Faye Schultz, 95, Owensville, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Gasconade Manor Nursing Home in Owensville.

She was born Feb. 20, 1924, to Luther M. and Eunice Ava (Aytes) Nicks, at Owensville.

She was united in marriage to Alvie James Phelps, March 14, 1942, in Owensville and he passed Oct. 12, 1970. She later married Alfred Schultz on Feb. 2, 1974, in Owensville and he passed Sept. 24, 1976.

Nola Faye was a member of First Baptist Church in Owensville and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW. She enjoyed reading and traveling on bus trips.

She was also preceded in death by parents, Luther and Eunice; siblings, Wilbert, Walter, Virgil and Vernon Nicks, and Shirley Shield; niece, Letha Hicks; and nephew, Douglas Eichler.

She is survived by sister, Norma Eichler and husband Arden of Brentwood; brother-in-law, Larry Shields of Kansas City; sisters-in-law, Talitha and Lucille Nicks of Owensville; nieces and nephews, Myra Leach and husband Ed, Darryl Nicks and wife Debbie, John Nicks and wife Becky, Polly Dawson and husband Jim, Peggy Mittelhauser and husband John, all of Owensville, Jerrold Shields and wife Sarah of Kansas City, Jeff Shields and wife Jenny of Los Angeles, Calif., Roger Nicks, Carol Nicks, Ron Nicks, Rodney Nicks all of Owensville, Barbara Eichler and Sharon Jennings both of St. Louis; and by numerous great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, June 7 from 9-11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville. 

Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.

Burial will be at Countryside Memorial Gardens.
