Just wanted to give a big thanks to the Gasconade Democratic Party for volunteering their time to help get my yard back in shape.
I am disabled and I can no longer keep it up. A large group came Saturday, Oct. 27, and spent the day cleaning the tall weeds around my fence. After cutting all the brush, Angie Kurgas — who knew I was having a sewer problem — talked to some of the others and they decided to rent an auger from Pioneer Home Center and try to fix the problem. When they cleaned the yard they found the clean outs for the sewer and fixed the clogged pipes.
Without them, I would’ve never been able to get it done. I am very thankful to each and every one of them. Our community is so blessed to have an organization like this.
