A Sullivan man, Michael Manning, was sentenced Tuesday to 30 years in prison by U.S. District Judge Carol E. Jackson.

Manning was arrested in March and found guilty this past September of one felony count for each charge of  receipt and possession of child pornography.

Documents posted on the court’s website state at least one of the images showed sexual acts with a three-month-old baby.

After deliberating five and a half hours that day, the jury unanimously found Manning guilty.

The pornography was discovered in September 2010 in Manning’s home.

The case was investigated by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, the FBI, the Regional Computer Crime Education and Enforcement Group, the South Central Missouri Computer Crime Task Force and the Child Advocacy Center of East Central Missouri.

Assistant United States Attorney Tiffany Becker handled the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
