The Gerald Police Department has been staying busy working on a burglary that occurred in the Hillside Mobile Home Court off of East Springfield Road.
On Jan. 17, officers went to a residence in the 200 block of South Main Street to speak with someone concerning the burglary.
Gerald Police Chief Tommie Lowe says that as officers approached the residence, they detected an odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside.
Officers secured the residence and applied for a search warrant, which they ultimately received.
During the execution of the warrant, officers seized several items of illegal drug paraphernalia. They also recovered items stolen that had been reported stolen during the Hillside burglary.
The suspects, one female age 19, and two males ages 19 and 22 were booked and released pending formal charges.
