Old railroad steel rails were removed from West Springfield Ave. and an old, broken sidewalk was removed along that street. New metal culverts will be placed from a low spot in the parking lot across the street that will drain into the ditch in Roadside Park. A broken clay culvert emptying into the ditch will be repaired and the ditch itself will be made more level for better drainage.
