Now a senior, Elliott will lead the Dutchmen beginning this Friday by hosting their first-ever preseason jamboree beginning at 6 p.m. Teams competing along with the host orange and black include Linn’s Wildcats, Fulton’s Hornets, Hermann’s Bearcats, Montgomery County’s Wildcats and Russellville’s Indians. First-year Dutchmen head football coach Dustin Howard will make his head-coaching debut on Friday, Aug. 25 in a Highway 19 showdown on the road at Cuba High School against the host Wildcats with a 7 p.m., kickoff. Dutchmen fans will have to wait until Friday, Sept. 8 to see the orange and black at Dutchmen Field in their home opener against Warrenton’s Warriors.
