Andrea Marie (Kirby) Carty, 55, of Owensville, passed away Monday, Aug. 16, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born April 2, 1966, to Jerry and Juanita (Conway) Kirby in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to her life partner after 24 years to William J. Carty on Dec. 31, 2012, in Chuck and Donna Lewis basement in Owensville.
Andrea graduated Roosevelt High School in 1985, and then proceeded to study at Hickey Business School. She managed Barbson Transport with William and was a big part of Carty’s Chicken Shack of Owensville. She loved her family and friends. Andrea will be missed.
She was preceded in death by parents Jerry and Juanita; and nephews, Scott Carty Jr. and Eric Oellermann.
Andrea is survived by husband, William; children, Tiffany, Tina, Nicholas and Taylor Carty and Damien Nowack; grandchildren, Trinity, Jayce, Lowe, Dominic, Aubrey and Leeland; sisters, Robbin Thompson, Cindy Ysaguirre, Lisa Edward, Denise Rose, Pam Kirby; along with many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life BBQ will be held on Aug. 28, starting at 11 a.m. at Peaceful Valley Lake, Beach and Park, Owensville.
