Arden Dee Eichler, 92, Brentwood, passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 29, 1929, to Harry Lloyd and Marie Ethyl (Richardson) Eichler in Owensville.

He was united in marriage to Norma L. Nicks, June 28, 1954, at First Baptist Church in Owensville.

Arden served his country with the U.S. Air Force and was a member of American Legion where he served as Sgt. of Arms. He enjoyed going to military air shows, cars and was an avid fisherman.

He was preceded in death by parents Harry and Marie; son Douglas Alan Eichler; and brother Norris Greene Eichler.

He is survived by wife Norma of their home; daughters Sharon Elaine Jennings of Fenton and Dr. Barbara Ann Eichler of Florissant; grandchildren Lisa Roseburg and husband Dan, Jonathon Fleming and wife Gina, Christopher Jennings, Joseph Jennings, Shannan Jennings, Robin Plumley and husband Joe, and Amanda Chakides and husband Cory; and great-grandchildren Dylan, Brady and Carly Rosenburg, Cameron, Cara and Cassidy Fleming, Keegan, Connor and Kennedy Plumley, and Nikos, Katina and Thalia Chakides.

Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 27, from 9-11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Jeff Lunn officiating. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens, Owensville, with full military honors.

Memorials requested to Dementia/Alzheimer’s Association.
