Art’s Sports and Liquor in Gerald is preparing to make a move a few blocks west of the current location at 8 E. Fitzgerald. Crews are currently at work upgrading the parking area and concrete apron surrounding the building. Owner Mick Duerr says he will completely renovate the interior of the building before moving over his current inventory. Art’s future home was once a gas station, and has been vacant since 2004.  The underground tanks were removed many years ago. Duerr says a drive-through window will be added to the new location. No date for opening at the new store has been determined. In the meantime, Art’s remain in full operation at their current building.
