Bobby Lee Crackel, 93, of Linn, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.
He was born on Jan. 17, 1930, to Carl and Mary (Miller) Crackel in Mt. Carmel, Ill.
He was a 1948 graduate of Afton High School in south St. Louis. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Bobby was united in marriage to Ernestine Grissom, June 11, 1954, in St. Louis.
He retired from Chrysler as a plant manager. He attended First Baptist Church in Linn and was a member of Poplar Bluff Masonic Lodge #209 and was a Shriner.
He was preceded in death by parents, Carl and Mary; and brother, Carl Roy Crackel.
Bobby is survived by wife of 68 years, Ernestine of Owensville; daughter, Jana Stahlhuth and husband Mark of Linn; and three grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 20, at First Baptist Church in Linn with Rev. David Krueger, officiating. Interment with full military honors was in the Linn Public Cemetery.
Memorials suggested to the Missouri Baptist Disaster Relief Fund.
