HERMANN — Gasconade County voters in the Boulware Precinct next week will have a new place for casting their ballots in the Primary Elections.
County Clerk Lesa Lietzow announced Thursday morning that the polling place in Boulware Precinct has been changed from the Bay American Legion Home at 2563 Highway K to the nearby Zion St. Paul United Church of Christ at 2428 Highway K. Voters will use the basement entrance to get to the polling place.
“This new location has been remodeled in recent years and offers a very nice working environment for the poll workers who spend a very long day there and is also a handicap accessible facility,” Lietzow said.
“While the American Legion Hall basement served us well for many years, it no longer gets used on any regular basis,” she added.
Voters in the Boulware Precinct have been sent new ID cards with the corrected polling place information on them. Voters can destroy their old ID card. If voters have any questions, they are asked to call the County Clerk’s Office at 573-486-5427.
