Bulk trash pick up will be Tuesday June 8, for most Gerald residents (Monday, June 7 for those living on Canaan Road). Each household can set out two bulk items or a maximum of six bags. of trash.
Items that will be picked up include carpet, padding and linoleum that has bundled and tied, not to exceed four feet in length; mattresses and box springs (each equals one item); televisions; wooden pallets; toilets and sinks.
Items that will not be picked up are brush, soil and rocks; tires, concrete; landscaping stones; construction;remodeling and roofing materials such as bricks, sheet-rock, or insulation; glass or metal.
The city will hold a special metal pick-up day in the fall.
