A rural Owensville resident is out more than $15,000 after a burglar entered her unlocked home July 5.
Gasconade County Sheriff’s Mark A. Williams reports deputy Ryan Limberg responded July 5 to the 1700 block of Krausetown Road near Owensville for a burglary. The complainant reported person(s) unknown had entered her unlocked home and stole approximately $15,400 in cash and change. There are no suspects currently and the investigation continues.
Staff Sgt. Darrell Chrisenberry responded July 1 to the 1900 block of U.S. Highway 50 near Owensville for a theft. The complainant reported her debit card had been stolen sometime on June 30 which resulted in $2,800 of unlawful charges on the card. There are no suspects currently and the investigation continues.
