Approved unanimously at the Monday, April 20 Gasconade County R-2 Board Meeting, the board agreed to award Byrne and Jones, the lowest bidder through TIPS purchasing agreement, the track resurfacing bid in the amount not to exceed $98,200.
Included in the project will be:
• Mobilization of necessary material, equipment and labor to Owensville High School.
• Clear the track and field events of loose debris
• Cover the surrounding areas with plastic to prevent overspray or damage during construction
• Apply a two coat red Champion structural spray to the existing track system
• Stripe the improved track surface to National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) standards.
This project comes with a three-year track surface warranty in addition to a one-year track striping warranty.
