Casper “Cap” Luebbert, Sr., 81, Rich Fountain, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 4, 1940, to Adam and Virginia (Brandt) Luebbert in Osage County. 

He attended St. George Catholic School in Linn.

Casper was united in marriage to Laura Reinkemeyer, Sept. 9, 1961, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain. 

He was a lifelong dairy, beef and hog farmer and raised crops. 

Casper was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain, Western Catholic Union and was also a former member of Mid–America Dairy Association.

He was preceded in death by parents Adam and Virginia; and infant daughter Mary Ann Luebbert. 

Casper is survived by wife Laura; children Betty Lehmen of Linn, Wayne Luebbert and wife Tammy of Hornbeak, Tenn., Brian Luebbert and wife Sheila, Lisa Krieg and husband Paul, Terry Luebbert and wife Jamie and Casper Luebbert, Jr. and wife Jessica, all of Rich Fountain, and Karen Dudenhoeffer of Vienna; brothers Bernard Luebbert of Linn and Norbert Luebbert and wife Kris of Westphalia; sisters Irene Strope and husband Robert of Linn and Generose Brandt of Jefferson City; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; 

A Mass of Christian burial was held Monday, June 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. James Finder officiating. Interment was in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery.

Memorials suggested to Sacred Heart Catholic School.
