An early-morning fire Tuesday in an unoccupied mobile home was termed “undetermined,” according to Owensville Fire Lt. Carl Smith. Owensville firemen were called out at 4:32 a.m. Feb. 4 to a residential structure fire at 3559 Ted Drive in the Rolling Home Mobile Home Park. “Right now it’s going to be undetermined,” said Smith who spoke with a Missouri State Fire Marshal’s investigator. Smith said firemen arrived and found no windows broken out and both doors were locked and secured shut. There was electric and water service to the residence but the owner has been in a nursing facility for an extended period. May Davis, the park’s owner, talks with Smith around 8 a.m. Tuesday. Family photographs were pulled from the rubble.
