Cecilia Ann (Kanngiesser) Becker Voss, 84, Washington, formerly of Owensville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, at Crabapple Village Senior Estates, St. Clair.
She was born Feb.10, 1935, to Lawrence and Cora (Bardot) Kanngiesser, in Washington.
She was united in marriage to Alois Becker, Nov. 25, 1954, in Union. He preceded her in death. She later married Rudy Voss, July 16, 2004, in Owensville.
Cecilia was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Owensville, Our Lady’s Sodality and a life member of Gasconade Bible Society.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Rudy; parents, Lawrence and Cora; brother, Harold Kanngiesser; and son-in-law, Terry May.
She is survived by children, David Becker of Austin, Texas, Jane May of Chandler, Ariz., Gerald Becker and wife Theresa of Union, Kenneth Becker and wife Jennifer of Navarre, Fla., Barbara Godsey and husband Randy of Rogers, Ark.; brother, Thomas Kanngiesser and wife Vicky of Louisville, Ky.; sisters, Theona Osborn and husband Jerry of Surprise, Ariz. and Carmelita Schowengerdt and husband Sam of Portland, Oreg.; and 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, Sept. 16, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville with Fr. Wayne Boyer officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
