Charles “Charlie” Ray Klein, 63, Belle, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020, at his residence.
He was born March 3, 1957, to Clinton Charles and Lila Mae (Thompson) Klein, in St. Louis.
He was united in marriage to Linda Schneider, in November of 1986.
Charlie was a 1975 graduate of Ritenour Senior High School in St. Louis and was baptized at High Hill Christian Camp as a young man. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Hazelwood after 30 years and most recently worked part time at K&J Lumber in Owensville after his retirement. He owned 88 acres of land in Belle which he turned into Saline Valley Farm where he bred, raised, trained and showed Missouri Fox Trotters.
He was preceded in death by parents, Clinton and Lila; and brother, Michael Klein.
He is survived by daughter, Danie “Danielle” Klein; and sisters, Linda Morsher and husband Chuck of Bellevue, Ohio, and Emma Lou Parcell.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle with interment at Liberty Cemetery. Memorial contributions suggested to Liberty Cemetery.
