Connie Clydette Boucher, 73, Dixon, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, in SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital, Jefferson City.

She was born July 7, 1949, to Clyde and Nora (Richmond) York at Dixon.

She was united in marriage to Ralph Louis Boucher, Dec. 15, 1972, at Dixon Church of Christ.

She was very active in the Dixon Church of Christ, where she enjoyed being a Sunday school teacher.

She was a 1967 graduate of the Dixon R-1 High School. Connie received her elementary education at the West Fairview School, which was a one room school near Dixon in Maries County. She was employed by the Brown Shoe Company in Dixon and the Dixon R-1 Schools as a school cook for 12 years.

She was preceded in death by parents Clyde and Nora; brother Ronald “Ronnie” York; and grandson Cameron Shanks.

She is survived by husband Louis of their home near Dixon; daughter Sunshine Shanks and husband Bruce of Belle; son Ralph Boucher and wife Amber of Dixon; four grandchildren; sisters Penny Watson and husband Rex of Rolla, and Dottie York of Dixon; and brother Buddy York and wife Susie of Dixon.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 1, in the Dixon Church of Christ, Dixon, with Randy Carr officiating. Interment was in the West Fairview Cemetery, near Dixon.

Memorials suggested to the Fair Haven Children’s Home, Strafford.
