Corey James Vitt, 41, Bland, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla.
He was born June 10, 1981, to James Robert and Trudy (Hahn) Vitt in Washington.
Corey enjoyed motorcycle riding, mud running, riding horses, time on the river and spending time with family, especially his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father James; son Baby Vitt; and cousin Lindel Hahn.
He is survived by mother Trudy Murphy of Bland; daughter Jasmine Vitt of Bland; significant other Ashley Jones of Bland; brothers Jason Vitt and wife Karma of Jacksonville, Fla., Tim Vitt and wife Kelly of Gerald, and William Murphy III of Kissee Mills; sister-in-law Alyssa Vaughn and husband Brian of Linn; and other sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 5, from 4–7 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel, Owensville.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 6, at 3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Apostolic Church, Owensville, with Pastor Sheila Bowers officiating.
