Cynthia Ann Dunlap, 64, Dixon, formerly of Sopchoppy, Fla. passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021, in Phelps Health in Rolla.
She was born Jan. 11, 1957, to the late Robert Gene and Virginia Eloise (Rathel) Rogowski in the country of Japan.
She was united in marriage to William Jeffrey “Jeff” Dunlap May 22, 1981, in Florida.
Cynthia was employed as a manager in retail businesses and as a care provider prior to moving to Missouri from Florida. She was also a published author of poems. Cynthia was a member of the Church of Christ in Sopchoppy, Fla. and a member of The Poetry Society.
Cynthia was preceded in death by husband, Jeff; parents, Robert and Virginia; sister, Patricia Lynn Bajerski; brother, Robert Gene “Bobby” Rogowski; paternal grandmother, Betrice Ann Rogowski; and maternal great-grandmother, Lola Henderson.
She is survived by daughters, Julie Ann Lamberton and husband Michael of Dixon and Lisa Marie Seber and husband Robert of Crawfordsville, Fla.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister and brother, Pamela Jean Purvis and husband Jim and Michael George Rogowski, all of the state of Florida.
A funeral service is being planned for Saturday, June 26, in the Church of Christ in Sopchoppy, Fla. Interment will be in the Westside Cemetery.
