Danny Gene Baker, 65, Dixon, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in Columbia.
He was born Oct. 5, 1956, to the late Kenneth Earl and Barbara Lois (Means) Baker in Waynesville.
He worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Carpenters Union in St. Louis., restored old cars, was a mechanic and worked for Cable America until his health would no longer permit.
Danny was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Barbara; son, Kenneth Thomas Ray Baker; brother, Terry Earl Baker; paternal grandparents, Guy and Violet (Kelley) Baker; and maternal grandparents, Jerry and Lucy (Jett) Means.
He is survived by children, Kristy Jo Baker and Charles Smith of St. James, Guy Daniel Baker and David Gene Baker and wife Laurel, all of Vienna; sister, Karen Nave of Wellsville; and six grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Monday, March 21, in the Dixon Cemetery, with Pastor Chuck Baker officiating. Interment was in Dixon Cemetery.
