Delores Gladys Ruegge, 87, Owensville, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born Jan. 12, 1934, to John Henry and Anna Marie (Nowack) Bruens, in Washington.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth L. Ruegge, May 23, 1953, in St. Louis.
Delores was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Bem where she belonged to the quilting group, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and St. John’s Hospitality Committee for many years.
She was preceded in death by parents, John and Anna; husband, Kenneth; daughter, Donna Ruegge; and son-in-law, Mark Sieckmann.
She is survived by children, Brenda Minter and husband Lewis of Sharpsburg, Ga., and Matthew Ruegge and fiancé Amber Crider of Owensville; and granddaughters, Beth and Becca Sieckmann, both of Sharpsburg, Ga.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 29, at St. John’s United Church of Christ at Bem with Pastor Jeff Remelius officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions requested for family’s choice.
