Dolores “Dee” Lee Willoughby, 72, Springdale, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020, at her home after two years of treatment for cancer.
She was born Sept. 27, 1947, in Washington, Mo., the daughter of Homer and Alice Haag Kormeier.
She was united in marriage to Greg Willoughby, April 27, 1968, in Owensville.
Dee was the fourth of five children and grew up and attended school in Owensville. She completed two years of college at Southwest Missouri State in Springfield.
Dee loved being a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. Serving Jesus and her family were the most important elements of her life.
She was preceded in death by parents, Homer and Alice; and brother, Kenny.
She is survived by husband, Greg, of the home; son, Josh Willoughby and wife Joy of Franklin, Tenn.; daughters, Heather Wasson and husband John of Van Buren, Ark., and Robin Dunivan and husband Grant of Owensboro, Ky.; siblings, Carol Jean Heck and husband Rus of Belle, Mary Ann Barbarick of Bland, and Robert Kormeier of Owensville; and eight grandchildren.
Dee was buried in the Travis Cemetery near Belle. Memorial contributions suggested to Circle of Life Hospice Group of Springdale, Ark.
