A New Adventure

Demands from the radical left

Posted

During the 2020 campaign for President we were sold a bill of goods that Joe Biden is a moderate, center of the road Democrat. One who would unify America.

His choice for his vice-presidential running mate, Kamala Harris, certainly did not reinforce that image. In 2019, GovTrack, a non-partisan organization, ranked Harris as the “most liberal compared to all Senators.”

As the presidential election nears certification on December 8, demands — not suggestions or requests but outright demands — from the radical left increase on Biden.

Last week Black Lives Matter demanded President-elect Biden exclude Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti from his administration.

Garcetti was co-chair of the Biden campaign. His sin, last summer he rejected a BLM proposal to cut 90 percent from the Los Angeles Police Department’s budget.

BLM has also demanded that California Gov. Gavin Newsom appoint a Black woman to fill the U.S. Senate seat to be vacated by Kamala Harris.

Make no mistake, BLM feels that Biden owes them for his election. As payback, they have asked to “be actively engaged in your (Biden’s) Transition Team’s planning and policy work.”

Specifically, in an op-ed on November 21, BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors called for Biden to back the BREATHE Act, something she calls “modern-day civil rights legislation.”

Sponsored by radial liberal Representatives Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) the legislation, if passed, would:

• Make it impossible for police to defend against riots by outlawing “tear gas, rubber bullets, pepper bullets, pepper spray, flash bangs, long- range acoustic devices (LRADs), StingRays (a cellular phone surveillance device), lasers, and any other ‘less than lethal’ forms of crowd control” as well as drones, body cameras, tasers and facial recognition software.

• Prohibit law enforcement agencies from having joint task forces (like drug enforcement, border enforcement and gang enforcement).

• Eliminate law enforcement officers on public or private schools, colleges and universities, medical facilities, courthouses at every level, Social Security offices or Congressional district offices.

• Reduce nationwide prison populations across the country by at least 50 percent in five years and close all Federal prisons within 10 years.

This act would stop law enforcement from doing their job and make Americans, of any color or heritage, less safe.

The question is, will President-elect Biden have the courage and stamina to resist the pressure from the radical wing of the Democrat party?

I doubt it. Only time will tell.

This is a huge reason why Republicans voted for a second term for Donald Trump. He would have stopped this nonsense.

Now the only way to ensure this act never reaches President-elect Biden’s desk is the senator elections in Georgia slated for January 5.

In this coming election, Democrats have already announced their plans of voter fraud to help ensure Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock win their runoff elections.

Former Democratic Presidential nominee Andrew Yang, on November 7 tweeted, “Great news #yanggang – Evenlyn and I are moving to Georgia to help @ossoff and @ReverendWarnock win!”

Manny Yekutiel, a political activist who owns a civic engagement space in San Francisco’s Mission District, said he has been bombarded with calls asking him: “When do I move to Georgia? Where can I stay? Should I get a block of hotel rooms?”

Associate Editor of the Daily Intelligencer, Eric Levitz tweeted, “If you have the means and fervor to make a temporary move to GA, believe anyone who registers by Dec. 7 can vote in these elections.”

Is this a new political strategy by Democrats or are we just hearing about it where in a district where the election is expected to be close, they import a few hundred from a liberal city or state to make up the difference?

In fact, the number of people who said they are willing to move to Georgia just so they can vote in the runoff election has prompted Georgia officials to remind everyone this is illegal.

It is voter fraud at it’s highest level, punishable, in Georgia, by up to 10 years in prison and a $100,000 fine. But that has not stopped Democrats before.
