Democrats post tears for criminals, not victims

It’s everywhere: on social media, TV and letters to the editor. Democrats are attacking supporters of Donald Trump for arresting illegal aliens, claiming that these policies go against Christianity and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

On Jan. 27, singer and actress Selena Gomez posted a video of herself crying after over 1,000 arrests of illegal immigrants. “The children. I don’t understand. I’m so sorry,” she said. “I wish I could do something but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise.”

Gomez is not the only Democrat crying.

As of Jan. 31, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested over 7,400 illegal immigrants. That’s an average of 672 per day.

Border czar Tom Homan reports that those arrests are violent illegal aliens accused of sex crimes against minors, rape and more. Many of these offenders are gang members from Tren de Aragua and MS-13.

It’s true that Jesus forgives them of their sins the moment they ask for it. In the New Testament, he promotes forgiveness over revenge while emphasizing obedience to government laws.

In his letter to the Romans, Paul wrote, “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves” (Romans 13:1-2).

I wonder how many tears Gomez shed for the 1.5 million people deported during President Barack Obama’s first four years?  That average is 1027 per day. Trump is going to have to up his game to beat Obama and take away his title of “deporter in chief.”

For me to sympathize with Gomez’s pain — and other far-left liberals — I need to see the posts decrying Obama’s deportations. Why is it okay for Obama but not Trump?

In an interview with Shawn Hannity last week, Homan asked where Gomez’s tears were for those killed by illegal aliens or the hundreds of thousands of Americans who have died from fentanyl coming in through the open southern border during the Biden Administration. “We got a half a million children who were sex trafficked into this country, separated from their families, put in the hands of criminal cartels to be smuggled into the country,” Homan decried. “This administration can’t find over 300,000. Where’s the tears for them?”

Last week, a letter to the Republican quoted Mark 10:21: “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

That’s hard to do. If you have not done it, don’t condemn me.

In “Man on the Street” videos, I have viewed Americans from liberal states asked what they think about illegal immigrants. One responded, “I don’t understand, in general, why we are not more embracing and accepting of others who come here.” When this same man was asked if he was willing to accept government funds to house a migrant in his home, the answer was a definite no. This is not an unusual response.

In another video, a man wearing a Biden/Harris teeshirt proudly announces his support for mass migration into the US. When the interviewer brings three illegal immigrants from Honduras to the man’s house looking for a place to stay, the Biden supporter quickly turns them away.

One of the next attacks on Trump will be his support by billionaires like Elon Musk. This was put into motion when Biden warned of an American “oligarchy.”

“Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead,” Biden said just days before Trump’s inauguration.

Biden made this statement as though ultra-wealthy people had no influence on Democrats in power for the last 20 years.

In the November election, Forbes magazine found over 130 billionaires supporting either Trump or Kamala Harris. Harris was the overwhelming winner in this race, with 83 billionaires behind her. Trumps corner had 52 billionaires.

These are ploys by Democrats to make Trump look heartless, evil and mean. It won’t work on informed Americans.
