Admiring a 1940’s model Chevrolet truck are friends John Horsteaniel (left) of Joneseburg and Bruce Junker of Warrenton. The custom truck from Illinois was one of approximately 200 vehicles at Purdy’s Stony Hill Hall on Saturday for the 11th annual Dinosaur Cruise. Organized by Denny “Snuffy” Smith from Vandalia, the cruse raised approximately $15,000 for the Pediatric Endocrinology Diabetes Unit at Children’s Hospital in Columbia. Money was raised through a $20 donation per car and an auction. Stops were also made at Oak Glen Winery in Hermann, and A Bar & Grill in New Florence.
