Dorothy Ellen Madison, 80, of Bland, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 1, 1942, to James E. and Dorothy Katherine (Owen) Harris in Austin, Texas.
She was united in marriage to Thomas M. Madison, Sr., Nov. 16, 1994, in Sioux City, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by parents, James and Dorothy; husband, Thomas; brother, Ruben Harris; and sister, Judy Davis.
She is survived by sons, Randy Newman and wife Jan of Mountain Home, Ark., and David Newman and special friend Carol of Apopka, Fla.; daughters, Darlene Burnett and husband Duane of Bland and Dorothy Biring and husband Carl of West Plains; siblings, Joe Harris and wife Lila of Newport News, W.Va., Tom Harris and wife Becky of West Plains, Lillie Harris of Ketchikan, Alaska, Karen Moore of Pomona, and Mary McIntosh of Danville, Ky.; and brother-in-law, David Davis of Danville, Ky.; and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Her body was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
