Dorothy June Wallace, 96, Owensville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, at Frene Valley of Owensville.
She was born June 24, 1924, to John and Ella (Wacker) Hackman, in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to Elgie Wallace, Sept. 9, 1950.
Dorothy was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ where she belonged to the Dorcas and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by parents, John and Ella; husband, Elgie; son, Rodney Wallace; and brother, Kenneth Hackman.
She is survived by daughters, Marcie Borth of Owensville and Marla Bray and husband Richard of Owensville; and grandchildren, Derick Bray and fiancé Amanda Hansch of Pacific and Tiffancy Harden and husband James of Owensville.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 19, from 6-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville. Attendees are asked to observe covid restrictions. Masks are requested, but no mandatory. No services are planned. Memorial contributions suggested to OHS Alumni Association or Eastern Star.
