Dutchgirl volleyball tournament
action in Hermann, Rolla last week
Keira Hendrix (above) spikes a ball over the net during the consolation championship at the Hermann Invitational Volleyball Tournament last Thursday at Hermann High School. Jamie Ridenhour’s Owensville Dutchgirls swept Hermann’s JV Lady Bearcats in pool play after being swept by Borgia and Pacific to advance to the consolation title match against New Haven which they lost in three sets 25-16, 16-25 and 27-25. Two days later in tournament action at Rolla. Owensville managed a split with the host Lady Bulldogs before dropping their other pool matches to Fatima, Waynesville and Summersville. OHS will host Blair Oaks on Monday, Oct. 11 in a match with district implications starting at 5 p.m.
