Edgar Doyle Piles, 81, Rosebud, passed away Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at his residence.
He was born March 20, 1940, to Doyle Isaac and Elsie W. (Meyer) Piles in St. Louis.
He was united in marriage to Sharen Degonia on Aug. 24, 1963, at Peters Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Louis.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Redeeming Grace Fellowship Church.
He was preceded in death by parents Doyle and Elsie; son Matthew Piles; brother Raymond Piles; and sisters Dorothy Gobel, Delta Roper and Betty Clark.
He is survived by wife Sharen of the home; son Mark Piles and wife Carla Dickey of Iberia; daughter Monica Piles of Oakville; brothers Michael Piles and wife Mary of Arnold, James Piles and wife Stella and Richard Piles and wife Rosemary all of Owensville and David Piles of Yelm, Wash.; sister Kathy Crafton and husband Gary of Van Buren; grandchildren Mikeal, Maxwell and Morgan Piles all of Omaha, Neb. and Dacey Myer of Oakville; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday (today), Oct. 27, at 10:30 a.m. at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charles Stover officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, at 1:30 p.m. with full military honors.
