Edward Alan Busenhart, 75, Owensville, formerly of Boliver, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.
He was born April 24, 1945, to James and Irene (Wuertz) Busenhart in Vandalia, Ill.
He was first married to Desiree’ Dence and later married Glenda Marshall.
Edward was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Boliver. He had served in the National Guard for several years.
He was preceded in death by parents, James and Irene; wife, Glenda Marshall; and sister, Marcella Busenhart.
He is survived by children, Michelle Rhodes of Springfield, Michael Busenhart and wife Zoe of Gerald, Lynn Crull and husband Jon of Belle, Loren Busenhart and wife Stacee of Gerald, Lorie Gieck and husband Gibby of Belle and Christy Baldwin and husband Billy of Boliver; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be Friday, July 24 from 4-7 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville. No other service is planned. Visitation is open to the public but please observe restrictions. Masks are requested but not mandatory.
