Eileen Schneider, 84, Washington, formerly of Owensville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born Aug. 17, 1937, to James and Edith (Hall) Edwards, in Oxford, England.
She married her first husband, James Leroy Brandon in Oxford, England November 23, 1957. She married her second husband, Billy (Bill) Joe Schneider Jan. 1, 1966, in Cuba.
Eileen enjoyed cross-stitching baby quilts, reading, baking, putting together 1000+ piece puzzles and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by parents James and Edith; husbands James and Billy (Bill); brothers Ronald and John Edwards; and sister Jean.
She is survived by children Leroy Brandon and wife Gaylynn of Owensville, Christine Dohse and husband Mark of Union and Linda Scheel and husband Jason of Washington; grandchildren Erin Steen and husband Raymond of Gerald, Christopher Dohse and wife Stacy of Virginia Beach, Va., Nicholas, Stephen and Tanner Brandon of Owensville, Keegan Scheel and fiance’ Ayla Rolfes of Union, Griffen, Cohen and Brennan Scheel of Washington; and great-grandson, Leland Steen; niece Jane Smith and husband Andrew; nephews Steve and Martin Edwards, Tim Mace and wife Julie, and great-nieces Laura and Sophie Smith all of Oxford, England.
Visitation will be (today) Wednesday, Sept. 15, from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel, Owensville.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 16, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating. Internment will be in Owensville City Cemetery.
