Elizabeth “Betty” Joan Meyer, 86, Owensville, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born May 23, 1934, to August and Minnie (Schalk) Wacker in Owensville.
She was united in marriage June 16, 1954 to Henry Meyer Jr., at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Owensville.
Betty was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Owensville.
She was preceded in death by parents, August and Minnie; and brothers, August Jr. and James Wacker; and daughter-in-law, Denise Meyer.
She is survived by husband, Henry Jr.; sons, David of Dyersburg, Tenn., Doug and wife Terry of Owensville and Denny and wife Jill of Gerald; brothers, Ray Wacker and wife Gail of Owensville and Jerry Wacker and wife Myrna of O’Fallon, Ill.; sister-in-law, June Wacker of Owensville; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her body was cremated and no services are planned at this time. Her cremains will be interred at Countryside Memorial Gardens in Owensville.
