Eric Dale Bogle, 63, of Owensville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 21, 1961, to Marvin Jasper and Hazel Pauline (Mosley) Bogle in Mt. Sterling.
He was united in marriage to Theresa Schrader, Sept. 22, 1979, at the Red Bird Church.
Eric enjoyed watching westerns; over the road trucking; and spending time with family especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Marvin and Hazel; and siblings, Betty Vossen, David and Diane Bogle.
He is survived by wife, Theresa of their home; children, Jeremy Bogle of Canaan, Katrina Davison and husband Cory of Owensville and Shyla Baxter and husband Ryan of Bland; siblings, Judy Gordon and husband Darrel of Jefferson City, Charlie Bogle and wife Kathy of Columbia Fall, Mont., Beverly Loeb and husband Russell of Owensville, Terry Seymour and husband Oral of Belle, Rick Bogle and wife Kristen of Bland and Randy Bogle and wife Tammy of Owensville; brother-in-law, Larry Vossen of Lake of the Ozarks; sister-in-law, Stephanie Bogle of Chamois; grandchildren, Hayley Bogle, Weston Davison and wife Sofia, Tyler Davison, Garrett, Clara and Mattie Baxter; and great-grandchildren, Grayson Jones, Walker and Ellie Davison.
His body was cremated and his remains will be interred at Lanes Prairie Cemetery at Linn.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Nov. 24, from 2–4 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Owensville.
