Eric Allen Miller, 71, Bonnots Mill, passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022. His battle with cancer over recent months showed his courage in facing life challenges with a positive attitude. Despite the pain, he stayed strong until the end.
He worked as a math and science instructor at Linn State Technical College, retiring after 33 years. Eric then went on to pursue his passion on a full-time basis which included rebuilding cars and motorcycles. His main passion was his business, Radio Revival, where he brought vintage radios back to life, bringing cherished memories back to his clients.
Eric was preceded in death by parents Elaine and Robert Miller of Drake.
He is survived by wife of 41 years, Paulette (nee Fischer); daughters of whom he was very proud, Andrea Miller and husband Anders Robertsen, Litah Miller and Celeste Reynolds and husband Robert; granddaughters Magdalene Agatha Reynolds and Elowyn Rose Miller-Robertsen; siblings John Miller, Lin Waselkov and husband Greg, Julie Smythe and husband John, Marian Chang and husband Don, J. Russel Miller and Steven Miller.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m., at Canterbury Winery and Restaurant in open house style with words and stories being shared starting at 6:30 p.m. Bring your favorite story to share.
