Gasconade River flood waters rose last week to just under the Highway 89 bridge near Rich Fountain, swallowing the nearby campground and boat access. According to the U.S. National weather service on Nov. 7, Belle was under a flood warning until 1:20 p.m. on Nov. 10. The area received moderate flooding, with waters rising around 28 feet.
