Figo’s Mexican Restaurant opened last week after being welcomed to town by city officials and members of the Gerald Area Chamber of Commerce (above). The business is owned by Maria Moreno and Elfego Moreno-Solis of Gerald. They offer an extensive menu of authentic Mexican cuisine, daily specials and a full bar. There are also items on the menu for a more traditional American taste. They are currently open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Beginning Monday, April 1, they will be open early and serving an American-style breakfast Monday through Saturday.
