Floyd Harold McCormick Jr., 70, Owensville, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at his residence.
He was born June, 13, 1949, to Floyd Harold Sr. and Thelma (Phillippe) McCormick, in St. Louis.
He was united in marriage to Virginia Fay Piles, June 16, 1973, in St. Louis.
Floyd was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Owensville. He enjoyed landscaping, restoring vehicles and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Thelma.
He is survived by wife, Virginia, of the home; children, Craig McCormick and wife Jennifer of Union, Eric McCormick and wife Lauren of Rosebud and Christina McCormick-Pratt and husband Robert of Owensville; and grandchildren, Noah Carter of Potosi, Keirstin McCormick of Union, Christian Pratt of Owensville, Ava McCormick of Rosebud, Khloe McCormick of Union, and Alexander and Jordan Pratt of Owensville.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 2, at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville with Rev. Jerry Pearson officiating. Burial was in the city cemetery in Owensville. Memorial contributions suggested to American Cancer Society.
