Aside from a few make-up games this week, the latest season of Owensville Athletic Association (OAA) baseball and softball came to an end with the month of June.

T-ball, baseball and softball players ranging in age from four to 14 spent part of May and the entirety of June playing on area diamonds looking to improve their games.

Four T-ball teams made up of kids four-and-under got their first taste of organized diamond action.

Players donned in blue shirts sponsored by The Kathy Kake included Brody Strubberg, Denver Echols, Ryker Copeland, Griffin Hamann, Colt Howard, Kaylee Warden, Brody Lackman, Elle Fletcher, Millee Schuchardt, Cason Floyd, Journey Lansford and Waylon Fick.

They were coached by Brady Strubberg and Brian Echols.

TKO Outdoors team members wearing green shirts included Corbin Nicks, Charley Nicks, Maelynne Hoock, Axel Hoock, Cheyenne Limberg, Chance Limberg, Walker Voss, Ryan Nelson, Grace Mantels, Raelynn Cahill, Knox Okenfuss and Kiah Newbound.

Coaches for TKO Outdoors included Kelsey Nicks, Samantha Limberg, Jordan Mantels and Chelsie Hubenthal.

Wearing red shirts for their ReMax-Diane Thomas sponsored team were Benjamin Jarrett, Nora Jarrett, Rogan Melton, Jax Mistler, Paisley Wideman, Calvin McKinney, Aspen Krupp, Rhett Mistler, Xavier Kohrmann and Emily Krupp.

Nick Mistler was their head coach.

Heidbrink Erectek team members in orange shirts included Raelynn King, Lacey Frioli, Ranger Brewer, Elaina Mentz, Rosalee Collins, Elida Crawford, Killian Harden, Jase Leicht, Noah Maples, Bennett Schaning and Wyatt Robertson. Zack Mentz and Jacob King were their coaches.

Five six-and-under teams faced off throughout May and June at the Owensville Lions Complex in baseball action as well.

Cathlee’s Real Estate team members in hunter green shirts included Tucker Nolting, Emery Chambers, Lane Adkison, Shelby Krause, Weston Robertson, Dax Echols, Layla Spurgeon, Dennis Wright, Braxton Kistner, Viola Rademacher and Micah Stroupe.

Coaching the green shirts were Kari Nolting, Britini Echols, Kaci Adkinson and Alyssa Robertson.

Kids Korner team members donning neon orange shirts included Lukas Walker, Oliver Angell, Westin Klingensmith, Gracie Smith, Alannah Gassel, Lilah January, Evander Liss, Kyree Fowler, Daniel Devore, Weston Schlottach, Clayton Savoir and Oliver Walker.

Coaches of the Kids Korner team included Amber Smith, Rayschell Walker and Terri Smith.

Wearing light gray shirts for their Meyer Residential team were team members Kameron James, Ellie Brinker, Legend Bradford, Aiden Huff, Hudson Huff, Myah Thompson, Maximus Fernau, Brayden Lowe, Samuel Krupp, Blake Thomas, Cohen Sieckmann and Rhett Thomas.

They were coached by Kyle Meyer, Cody James and Johnny Meyer.

Lakeside Book Company also sponsored a 6U team consisting of players Austin Edler, Hudson Fletcher, Barrett Hafner, Lucas Glenn, Lacey Kramme, Abel Decker, Kash Nowack-Schlottog, River Evans, Brody Gerlemann, Olivia Mangrum, Easton Snodgrass and Kyle Carr.

Coaches for Lakeside included Melissa and Sheradin Edler.

Tyler Ahring’s band Barely Covered sponsored the final 6U OAA team wearing light blue shirts.

Those team members included Connor Griffith, Anna Baldwin, Meleah Howard, Lilly Means, Mavery Howard, Benton Leach, Mattie Baxter, Andrew Heidbrink, Ruby Nadler, Wesley Melton, Brynlee Roberson and Kase Eiler.

They were coached by Tanya Griffith, Brenn Finley, Scott Eiler and Paul Baldwin.

Three 8U boys baseball teams also took to area fields in OAA action.

Haven Concrete and Construction team members in safety yellow shirts included Sean Walker, Lucas Onder, Hudson Krey, Waylon Danz, Brayden Hicks, Nolan Huff, Bronson Stockton, Alden Negretti, Wyatt Williamson, Brekley Kottwitz, Aidan Crabb, Michael Hudson and Treble Cook.

Coaches included Chris Negretti, Sean Walker and Bobby Negretti.

Nerd it Up team members in bright blue shirts included Jett Weyrauch, Asa McKinney, Wyatt Dennis, Nash Echols, Luke Gerlemann, Jett Hoffman, Trent Strothkamp, Hayden Howard, Jackson Carr, Corbin Mangrum, Van Gooch and Colin Sells.

They were coached by Jeff Weyrauch and Ty McKinney.

Rounding out the trifecta of 8U boys teams were Pioneer Home Center’s squad in bright green shirts.

Team members included Keever Schaning, Drake Schlottach, Gavin Mantels, Trace Nolting, Jameson Schultz, Jackson Niederer, Kal Chambers, Levi Hempelmann, Elijah Liss, Kellan Ryan, Quentin Hamm, Dawson Echols and Bryler Branson.

Coaches included Nick Nolting and Lynde Mantels.

Two 8U girls teams also played some summer softball.

Awards for All Stars sponsored a team wearing purple shirts which included members Charlotte Okenfuss, Audrey Kramme, Clara Baxter, Henlie Adkison, Freya Grayson, Bree Daniels, Mabel Hempelmann, Blaire Decker, Maggie Stranghoener, Kaylynn Cain, Isabella Mogenson and Rylee Shockley.

They were coached by Billy Adkison, Ryan Okenfuss and Amanda Okenfuss.

Maries County Bank sponsored the other 8U girls softball team with Alyssa Meyer, Eleanor Downey, Paisleigh McLaughlin, Karoline Reams, Olivia Hiatt, Elizabeth McMahan, Blayke Bogle, Estellise Handley, Hazel Schneider, Avery DeBoeuf, McKenna Christian and Payton Kueffer donning maroon shirts.

Miranda Turner was their coach.

Three 10U boys teams also played over the last two months at either Memorial Field or the Owensville Lions Sports Complex.

Boys on ReMax-Diane Thomas’ sponsored team included Nolan Fowler, Logan Myers, Bentley Thomas, Eli Glenn, Augustus Branson, Rowan Lorton, Marley Lorton, Daven Dietrich, Cole Meyer, Oliver Snodgrass, Gaige Keeler and August Krause.

They were coached by Andrew Fowler.

Heartland Carpentry sponsored another 10U boys team wearing orange shirts with players consisting of Deacon Stockton, Frank Clancy, Blake Koch, Clayton Hays, Paul Sieker, Silas Grayson, Shayn Koepke, Jayce Abernathy, Beau Steinbeck, Owen Steinbeck, Jaxton Black and Nash Griffith.

Grant Stockton served as their coach.

Gruenloh Excavating served as the sponsor of the final 10U boys team with players consisting of Draydon Gruenloh, Rhett McKinney, Bryson Meyer, Brantley Meyer, Lucas Goggin, Bryer Kottwitz, Kade Skornia, Colton Scego, Andrew Allen, Elijah Wax, Carson Decker, Chandler Howard and Judson Palmer.

Derek Gruenloh was their head coach.

Heidbrink Heating and Cooling sponsored the lone 10U girls softball team consisting of players Emerald Angell, Addie Figgemeier, Madilyn Wiseman, Violet Niederer, Eliza Kinman, Izzybell Logan, Devyn Elmore, Chloe Downey, Kynlee Heidbrink, Lena Hengstenberg, Lucy Hengstenberg, Averie Dare, Madison Thompson, Aisha Santos and Ella Myers.

Carlisle Downey was their head coach.

A pair of 12U boys baseball teams also saw OAA action this summer.

Playing for their Hinson Construction sponsored team were Brayden Kemp, Chesten Adkison, Colten Nowack, Daulton Limberg, Eli Davidson, Hayden Dennis, Ivan Phillips, Jamison Piersol, Jayden Crawford, Josiah Gehlert, Peyton Sells, Will Brune, Zander Hinson and Sawyer Sieckman.

Team members playing for their Fitness Parlor sponsored team included Bentley Crews, Bentley Knight, Brody Christensen, Carson Pavlovick, Kasyn Black, Kyle Korff, Lane Meyer, Leland Hengstenberg, Liam Knight, Mason Shockley, Matthew Allen, Reuben Richardson, Rex Wehmeyer and Tate Dixon.

John Dixon was their head coach.

Lakeside also sponsored OAA’s lone 12U softball team with players consisting of Addilyn Meyer, Gemma Hecht, Ella Niederer, Leah Roberson, Laina Rasmussen, Kennedy Reams, Alexis Christensen, Adelyn McDonald, Paislee Basham, Kiera Hamm, Vivian Butler and Raegen Brehe.

Cathlee’s Real Estate also sponsored one of the OAA 14U baseball teams with players consisting of Jaxon Lowe, Jax Johnston, George Wnuk, Chase Heidbrink, Carson Fisher, William Coppedge, Tanner Mogensen, Tucker Crosby, Nolan Jost and Cohen Dare.

Justin Dare and Amara Frame served as coaches.

Making up the lone OAA 14U softball team were Lylah Koch, Addison Stranghoener, Clara Brune, Lucy Jahnsen, Josey Williamson, Halle Thompson, Leighton Chambers, Natalie Brennan, Halley Brauks, Clara Dablemont, Trinity Thomas, Jana Myers and Hadlee Ketcherside.
