George H. Dinneen, 77, Owensville, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 20, 1944, to Charles D. Sr. and Jeanette (Beam) Dinneen in Pittsburg, Kan.
He was united in marriage to Vera Findlay, June 16, 2007, at Woollam Methodist Church.
George served in the U. S. Army. He was a member of Woollam Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Jeanette; and sister, Jeannie Hensley.
He is survived by wife, Vera, of Owensville; nephew, Dennis Hensley and wife Rosie of Arma, Kan.; and three brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law, all of Scotland.
Visitation will be Monday, May 3, from 10-11 a.m. at Woollam Methodist Church with memorial services following with Pastor Amy Turner officiating. The funeral home requests attendees observe covid restrictions. Masks are suggested but not mandatory. Memorial contributions suggested to Woollam Methodist Church.
