Gladys Mary Dothage, 93, Owensville, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Silverstone Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Rolla.
She was born Jan. 28, 1926, to Arnulf and Mabel (Buehler) Rauter, at Rosebud.
She was united in marriage to Leighland Dothage, Oct. 30, 1949, at Owensville.
Gladys was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ and she enjoyed quilting.
She was preceded in death by parents, Arnulf and Mabel; husband, Leighland; sister, Maralyn Schuenemeyer; and great-granddaughter, Palmer Maurer.
She is survived by children, Dennis Dothage and wife Lenell of Stanton and Marla Maurer and husband Gene of Rolla; grandchildren, Jessica Veverka and husband Mark of Alton, Ill., Jamie McNabb and husband Earl of Delta Junction, Alaska, Kris Maurer and wife Mara of Knoxville, Tenn. and Kylie Chambers and husband Clayton of Round Rock, Texas; and great-granddaughters, Adeline and Nora McNabb, Willow Veverka and Teigen Chambers.
Visitation will be (today) Wednesday, May 1, from 1-2 p.m. with funeral services following with Rev. Stephanie DeLong officiating, all in the Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.
Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens, Owensville.
