Helen Marjorie Bunton (Marge), 97, Eureka, formerly of Owensville, passed away Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at Victorian Gardens in Eureka.
She was born Oct. 25, 1924, to Kellen and Nettie (Houghton) Schneider in Birchtree.
She was united in marriage to Elmer Lee Bunton March 14, 1948, in St. Louis.
Helen was a member of Owensville Christian Church in Owensville and enjoyed playing games, cards and working crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by parents Kellen and Nettie; husband Elmer; brother Alva Schneider; and sisters Mae Clark, Fern Eastman and Adeline Allen.
She is survived by children James Bunton and wife Sue of Fenton and Judy Betts and husband Stephen of Union; grandchildren Lisa Betts, Doug Betts and wife Jennifer, Greg Bunton and wife Julie and Tim Bunton and wife Amanda; great-grandchildren Jake Betts, Cheyanne Mayer and husband Michael, Kaitlyn Betts, Delaney, Liam, Chase, Caleb and Avery Rose Bunton; and great-great-granddaughter Kinsley Mayer.
Her body was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held Jan. 8, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel, Owensville.
