Doug and Michele Hendrix of Owensville wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Michele Hendrix, to Myron Jay Kaufman II, son of Myron and Kim Kaufman of Forsyth.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Lois Hendrix of Owensville, the late John Hendrix and Darrell and Lynda Adams of Patoka, Ill. She is a 2016 Owensville High School graduate and will be receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Music Education from College of the Ozarks during the 2021 spring graduation.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Marvin and Marilyn Kaufman of Atlantic, Iowa, Barbara Hooks of Greensboro, N.C., and the late Pete Hooks. He is a 2015 graduate of Forsyth High School and also plans to graduate in the 2021 spring graduation at College of the Ozarks with his degree in physical education.
A June 6, 2020, wedding is planned in the Forsyth area with a reception to follow at the Atrium Wedding and Event Center.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii the couple plans to reside in the Southwest Missouri area and teach in the public school system there.
