Howard and Marie (Owens) Holaway of Leslie celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary, Sunday, April 14, at the Union Moose Lodge with friends and family.
The Holaways were united in marriage April 16, 1949, at the parsonage house in Union. Their wedding reception was held in St. Louis. They are both former employees of Carmo Shoe Factory of Union.
The Holaway union has been blessed with four children: Marilyn (Holaway) Bowman and husband Richard, Teresa Holaway, Mindy Holaway and the late Glenn Holaway; and four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
