After years of waiting, the Gerald community once again has a grocery store. Hometown Market opened its doors Wednesday, March 8. While the milk shipment did not arrive for the store’s opening, shoppers had no trouble filling their carts with other items. The deli was serving non-stop all day with fried chicken and catfish being the best sellers.
