Ron Geisler, 67, splits wood Tuesday morning as the sun clears the horizon as Dale “Grassy” Gruenloh demolishes the home where he was born in 1952. “Is what it is,” said Geisler about the loss of the only home he’s known. A grease fire caused extensive damage to his 30x40-foot home which was originally built as a garage. Area residents had donated $22,500 in cash as of Tuesday to build Geisler a small home on his property. Debris falls past posters which belonged to his late brother of Whitney Houston and the TV detective “Charlie’s Angels” characters. “Paul really liked her. And the Angels too,” he joked.
