Jackie James “Jim” Wyrick, 66, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the arms of his beloved daughter, Jennifer Lynn Wyrick and son-in-law Jesse James, Feb. 22, 2021, in Houston, Texas.
He was born in Clayton, Aug. 23, 1954, to Clair Anna Agnes Wodohodsky and Henry Beecher Wyrick.
Jim was a good and loving man. He never turned anybody away for food or a place to stay. His word was his bond, and his bond was golden. He was highly intelligent, a college graduate and worked for AT&T as a communication technician manager. He was a genius musician.
Jim was preceded in death by father; Henry; brothers, William “Billy” Wyrick, John Wyrick, Stephen Wyrick, Ronald “Ronnie” Wyrick and Jack Wyrick; and his dogs, Duke and DKNY.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his beloved daughter, Jennifer Lynn Wyrick “Angel Girl”; son-in-law and best friend, Jesse James; Jennifer’s Mom, Deborah Sue Wyrick; his mother, Clair Anna Agnes Wodohodsky; brother, Bobby Wyrick; and his dogs, Rex and Tatar.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 3, at 9 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home Chapel in Owensville with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
